What a fortnight it has been! I’ve had the Blue Radish blog birthday and the March Handmade Market. It has been fabulous – and exhausting! More on the giveaway in a moment.
First I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who came to see me at the market. To those who purchased something from me, thank you and I hope you are enjoying it. I love to see my items living their lives in the real world, so if you post a Blue Radish purchase on Facebook or Instagram, I’d love to see it. Tag me and use the hashtag #BlueRadish.
I did a little bit of shopping at the market too. Fortunately I was too busy to spend too much but I managed two lovely purchases.
I bought the sweetest little birdie brooch from Janet at In My Element Glass Design, a beautifully soft-to-the-touch cushion, which matches my living room wallpaper, from Lisa of Tango & James and gorgeous, fun cards from my lovely market neighbour, Sarah from Twice Designs.
Sadly I won’t be able to attend the June market as either a stall holder or a customer <frowny face!> I am taking my daughter to Queensland for a dancing competition. I’m looking into some other market options for the middle of the year to fill the void.
Back home, my studio now looks as if a bomb has gone off. I’m working through the process of putting everything away again and cleaning up after the making frenzy of the last five or six weeks. And there is no rest for the wicked! I was back at Megalo Print Studio yesterday printing up some fabric for a couple of custom orders.
Now, on to the exciting giveaway news! I’m very pleased to announce the winner of the First Birthday Giveaway and a pair of Blue Radish cushion covers is Lesley C who was picked at random from all those who entered the giveaway. Congratulations Lesley and I hope you really love your cushion covers.
Regular programming will resume next week! I’ve got some fun things in mind for the blog in coming weeks. Stay tuned!
